01 · End-to-end billing migration

Fixed-Scope E2E

Ownership of the billing workstream from current-state assessment through data migration, parallel run, cutover and hypercare — delivered as a defined scope inside the integrator's programme plan. Scope is fixed in writing before day one.

02 · Fractional migration lead

Fractional lead

A senior billing-migration lead embedded in your delivery team for a fixed number of days per week — design authority, risk review and escalation cover without a full-time hire on your rate card.

01

Design authority

Owns the billing target design and the migration approach, and signs off changes to either.

02

Risk review

Reads the reconciliation packs, the test evidence and the cutover plan before the steering committee does.

03

Escalation cover

The named person the delivery lead calls when a billing question stops the programme.

Two to three days per week is typical; the seat and the days are fixed in writing.

Frequently asked

Who contracts with whom?

The systems integrator contracts with Multisoft Solutions, Inc. under its own paper; we appear on the programme plan as one workstream inside the integrator’s delivery, never as a second vendor to the end client.

What is the difference between Fixed-Scope E2E and a Fractional lead?

Fixed-Scope E2E is ownership of the whole billing workstream — assessment through hypercare — to a scope fixed in writing before day one. A Fractional lead is one of the two principals embedded in your delivery team for a fixed number of days per week, holding design authority, risk review and escalation cover.

How quickly can you start, and how long does onboarding take?

Typically within two to four weeks of a signed scope. Onboarding is the assessment phase itself: we read the current state, the rate and tariff logic and the data lineage before proposing the migration approach, so nothing is spent on a separate ramp-up.

Which billing platforms do you work on?

Utility billing platforms including NICOR and CCNB, and telecom billing and networking platforms on real-time systems such as VxWorks, pSOS and Hard Hat Linux. Send us the platforms in play and we will tell you in writing whether we fit.

How do you approach data reconciliation?

Reconciliation packs are produced and signed off per migration cycle: every account, every charge and every balance is matched between source and target, and every variance is explained before the next cycle runs. The packs are the evidence the steering committee sees.

Who covers cutover and hypercare?

The same two principals. Cutover is rehearsed at least twice, the go/no-go is held with the integrator’s PMO, and hypercare runs through the first bill runs on the new platform — typically four to eight weeks.

How do you handle NDA and IP?

We sign the integrator’s NDA before any scope detail is exchanged, or supply ours. All deliverables are the integrator’s work product under its paper; we retain nothing client-specific beyond the engagement record published with permission.

What do you need from the SI to start?

Four things: the programme outline, the billing platforms in play, the seat you need filled, and the dates. You will receive a written assessment of fit and a proposed engagement shape within two business days.
